Tips on Investing in Warrants
- Never put all your investment capital into warrants. Generally speaking, do not have more than 10% of your investment capital in warrants as they are considered high risk. As such, retirees are strongly advised not to have funds that are marked for retirement, invested in warrants.
- Be disciplined in taking profits and cutting losses. Monitor your positions closely as warrants are more volatile than stocks.
- Attend seminars and read up on the warrants investing. Understand how the underlying assets works as well, for instance what would affect the price movement. This is because the warrant's pricing is greatly affected by the underlying asset's price.
- Keep yourself up-to-date on news of the underlying assets, especially if the underlying asset is a company's stocks. Keeping in touch with the company's business would help you to gain greater insights on the movement of the stock prices.
