Sector-Specific Unit Trusts are unit trusts that invest in a specific sector. For example, it could be in Real Estate, Commodities, Biotechnology or Technology. Again, they could be in bonds or stocks. We see the boom of these unit trusts during the dot.com boom and subsequently the biotechnology boom that ensues.
