Primary Markets transactions is when the buyer gives the original issuer of the security cash in exchange for the owenership of the security. From another point of view is that, the original security issuer receives cash, and the public then holds a security that previously did not exists.

Subsequently, if the security is transacted in the secondary markets, the original issuers will not receive anymore cash.
