Implementation of financial plans is the last stage of the financial planning process. The greatest challenge in this stage, is maintaining the discipline to implement the plans within the time frame specified. And one way to instil this discipline is to review your progress from time to time. You need to monitor the results and revise the plans or goals as and when needed.

If you are falling behind your goals, you may have to consider taking some corrective measures to make your goals within reach by the target dates. And if the financial circumstances change very drastic, so drastic that your goals are not realistic anymore, you might have to revise it.

This might seem tedious but if you have the discipline to follow through, you will eventually be rewarded.
